Allows public school employees who are members of a statewide association and appointed to a State board, advisory council, committee, commission, or task force to take up to 10 days per school term for State work

Prohibits any deduction of wages for absences taken to represent the statewide association in State work

Amends the School Code by adding Section 24-3.10

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law

State Mandates Act may require reimbursement to school districts for compliance costs
