Eliminates the statute of limitations for prosecuting involuntary servitude, involuntary sexual servitude of a minor, and trafficking in persons offenses when the victim was under 18 years of age at the time of the offense

The removal of time limits applies only to offenses committed on or after the effective date of this amendment to the 104th General Assembly

Existing law allowing prosecution within 25 years of a minor victim turning 18 remains in effect for cases that don't qualify under the new unlimited timeframe

Adult victims (18 or older at the time of offense) of trafficking-related crimes retain the existing 25-year statute of limitations from the date of the offense
