Amends the Line of Duty Compensation Act to expand the definition of "law enforcement officer" to include volunteers working for the State or local governmental entities

Volunteers must be serving in positions involving law enforcement and protection of the public interest at the risk of their lives to qualify

Specifically includes volunteers assisting with parking and traffic duties under the expanded definition

Would make eligible volunteers' families entitled to line-of-duty death compensation benefits if the volunteer is killed while performing their duties
