Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to exempt bicycle trail highway crossings from requiring permanent warning signage if the crossing is already controlled by an official traffic control device or sign

Expands options for alerting trail users to dangerous conditions beyond temporary signage to include cones, barricades, drums, or painted markings

Exempts highway authorities from installing advance warning signage for bicycle trail crossings if the highway approaches are already controlled by an official traffic control device

Requires permanent signage warning vehicular traffic to be located at least 150 feet in advance of bicycle trail crossings and conform with the State manual

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
