Increases the annual state-funded award for county clerks, county recorders, and chief clerks of county boards of election commissioners from the current $6,500 to $13,000 for 2025, $14,000 for 2026, and $15,000 for 2027 and each year thereafter

Awards are paid in addition to and separate from regular county-funded compensation for these election-related officials

State Board of Elections appropriates and distributes the award funds to counties, which then remit payments to eligible officials within 10 business days of receiving the funds

Counties are responsible for state and federal income tax reporting and withholding, as well as employer contributions under the Illinois Pension Code for these stipends

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
