Amends the Illinois Wildlife Code (520 ILCS 5/2.33) to create an exception to the prohibition on using unmanned aircraft (drones) to pursue or harass wild birds or mammals

Allows hunters to use drones specifically for tracking wounded animals during the course of hunting

Current law prohibits taking, pursuing, or harassing wildlife by use of unmanned aircraft, with limited exceptions for waterfowl hunting as permitted by federal regulations and utility inspections

The bill adds wounded animal tracking to the existing exceptions, leaving all other drone restrictions for hunting activities in place
