Creates the Student Bill of Rights Act requiring the State Board of Education and Board of Higher Education to jointly establish a student bill of rights by January 1, 2026

Affirms that students in public schools and public institutions of higher education have a right to educational equity and freedom from discrimination based on race, sex, gender, socioeconomic status, and mental or physical ability

Requires the State Board of Education and Board of Higher Education to publish the student bill of rights on their websites and make handouts available

Mandates that each public institution of higher education, the Illinois Community College Board, and the Illinois Student Assistance Commission include links to the student bill of rights on their websites

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law; State Mandates Act may require reimbursement
