Defines "conflict situation" for legislators as any circumstance involving the legislator, their immediate family, or businesses in which they hold economic interests that relates to a pending matter and may result in private pecuniary benefit

Requires legislators to disclose conflicts of interest by notifying the Office of the Legislative Inspector General upon discovery of a conflict situation

Directs the Legislative Inspector General to examine conflict situation notices and related bills, then either provide an informal advisory opinion or refer the matter to the Legislative Ethics Commission for a formal opinion

Requires the Legislative Ethics Commission to review referred conflict situations and provide formal advisory opinions with an opportunity for the legislator to respond

Mandates that conflict notices and legislator responses be posted on the bill status page and filed with the Clerk of the House or Secretary of the Senate
