Eliminates deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, and other cost-sharing requirements for victims of sexual offenses (criminal sexual assault, abuse, and related crimes) seeking examination, testing, and treatment for injuries, trauma, and sexually transmitted diseases

Applies to both individual accident and health insurance policies and group accident and health insurance policies issued or delivered in Illinois

Exempts high-deductible health plans from the cost-sharing prohibition to the extent that compliance would disqualify the plan from health savings account (HSA) eligibility under Section 223 of the Internal Revenue Code

Takes effect January 1, 2026
