Cable or video providers must issue a pro rata credit to customers who request service disconnection during the first 2 weeks of a monthly billing period

Amends Section 22-501 of the Public Utilities Act regarding customer service and privacy protection standards for cable and video providers

The new credit requirement is added to existing rules that already require providers to stop charging customers within one business day of receiving a termination request

Credits must be issued no later than the customer's next billing cycle following the determination that a credit is warranted
