Amends the Counties Code to expand firearm carrying privileges for special investigators appointed by State's Attorneys

Removes the restriction that special investigators may only carry firearms "in the performance of the special investigator's assigned duties"

Special investigators would still need permission from the State's Attorney and must carry appropriate identification indicating their employment to carry firearms

Currently, special investigators serve subpoenas and summonses, make return of process, and conduct investigations assisting State's Attorneys in their duties
