Adds Arab American history to the existing Asian American history curriculum requirement in Illinois public schools

Requires all public elementary and high schools to include a unit of instruction on Arab American history beginning with the 2026-2027 school year

Curriculum must cover Arab American history in Illinois and the Midwest, contributions from the 19th century onward in government, arts, humanities, sciences, and economic/cultural/social/political development

State Superintendent of Education may prepare and make available instructional materials, but individual school boards determine the minimum instructional time required

Regional superintendents will monitor school district compliance during annual compliance visits; schools may fulfill requirements through online programs or courses
