Amends the Public Officer Prohibited Activities Act to allow county board members to simultaneously serve on intergovernmental joint self-insurance pool boards during their term of office

Adds this position to the existing list of exceptions that permit county board members to hold dual offices without resigning

Current law already permits county board members to serve on County Extension Boards, Emergency Telephone System Boards, boards of review, and as public administrators or guardians

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
