Amends the Illinois Police Training Act to change the composition of the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board (ILETS Board)

Removes the Sheriff of Cook County as a direct ex officio member of the 18-member Board

Replaces the Sheriff's seat with one member of the Office of the Cook County Sheriff appointed by the Sheriff of Cook County, who will serve as an ex officio member

The appointed designee will have the same powers as other ex officio members, including voting rights and the ability to count toward quorum when the designating official is not in attendance
