Appropriates $50,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to community learning centers supporting afterschool programs and community schools

Individual grant awards are capped at $225,000 per site, with successful applicants eligible to reapply for up to 4 additional years of funding

Eligible grant recipients include public school districts, charter schools, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, Indian tribes, Regional Offices of Education, and other public/private entities

Grantees must serve high-poverty schools where at least 40% of children are from low-income families

Programs must provide academic enrichment, tutoring, youth development activities, arts, counseling, career/technical education, family engagement opportunities, and support for social-emotional growth; effective July 1, 2025
