Prohibits the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity from certifying a local tourism and convention bureau to receive local tourism funds on or after July 1, 2025, if all or part of its geographic service area is already represented by another DCEO-certified tourism and convention bureau

Removes the Director's discretionary authority to award grant funds to entities outside the normal eligibility criteria to prevent loss of funding critical to promoting tourism in designated geographic areas

Requires each bureau receiving funds to be certified by DCEO as the designated recipient to serve a specific area of the state, eliminating overlapping service territories

Maintains existing eligibility requirements for bureaus seeking first-time certification after July 1, 2001, including being a unit of local government or nonprofit, having 2 years of legal existence, operating with paid full-time tourism promotion staff, and receiving support from multiple municipalities or counties via hotel-motel taxes

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
