Amends the Illinois Aeronautics Act to define "critical infrastructure" using the USA Patriot Act definition and protect commercial drone operations related to critical infrastructure from local government restrictions

Prohibits local government rules on recreational/conservation public lands from restricting commercial drone users conducting business operations connected to critical infrastructure

Protects commercial drone operators who comply with FAA authorizations, regulations, or exemptions from being superseded by local rules on public recreational or conservation property

Exempts licensed professional land surveyors and professional engineers from local drone restrictions when operating drones within the scope of their professional practice

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
