Expands income eligibility for free public transit for seniors aged 65 and older from those who meet the income limit under the Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities Property Tax Relief Act to those whose income does not exceed 105% of that limit

Applies to fixed route public transportation services provided by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Suburban Bus Board (Pace), and Commuter Rail Board (Metra)

Maintains existing provisions requiring the Department on Aging to furnish eligibility information and allowing automatic 5-year renewal of eligibility upon proof of Illinois residency

Amends the Metropolitan Transit Authority Act and the Regional Transportation Authority Act

State Mandates Act may require reimbursement for costs incurred by transit agencies
