Expands the State Global Scholar Certification program to allow providers of micro-credentials or digital badges (in addition to online course providers) to certify that students have met all requirements for the certification

Requires school districts and nonpublic schools to designate State Global Scholar Certification on a student's diploma and transcript when a micro-credential or digital badge provider demonstrates the student has met all criteria

State Global Scholar Certification recognizes high school graduates who have attained global competence through completion of 6 globally focused courses, service learning experiences, global collaboration/dialogue, and a capstone project

Remote certification option for students at non-participating schools begins with the 2026-2027 school year

School participation in the certification program remains voluntary, and no fees may be charged to students for the designation
