Requires all paid school head coaches and chief sponsors of interscholastic athletic activities to obtain and maintain certification in CPR, first aid, and AED use

Expands cardiac emergency response plan (CERP) requirements for school districts and private schools to include guidelines from Project ADAM alongside American Heart Association standards

Mandates that each AED be clearly marked, maintained per manufacturer recommendations, and easily accessible at school athletic venues, events, and school premises

Requires schools to establish cardiac emergency response teams trained in CPR and AED use, and to conduct annual cardiac response drills in partnership with local emergency medical services

Changes training requirements from providing "information on" to actual "training on" symptoms and warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest, hands-only CPR, and AED use for school staff
