Requires all Commuter Rail Board (Metra) trains to carry naloxone or another opioid antagonist while in operation for emergency use

Mandates that opioid antagonists be stored in easily accessible locations throughout train cars

Restricts administration of the medication to train conductors or other individuals trained in the use of opioid antagonists

Grants civil liability protection under the Good Samaritan Act to trained conductors and staff who administer opioid antagonists in good faith, except in cases of willful or wanton misconduct

Effective January 1, 2027
