Extends the repeal date of the Professional Geologist Licensing Act from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2031, allowing the regulatory framework to continue for an additional 5 years

Requires applicants and licensees to provide and maintain current email addresses of record with the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, in addition to physical addresses, and report changes within 14 days

Reduces the application completion timeframe from 6 years to 3 years for applicants to pass the licensing examination; applications not completed within 3 years will be denied and fees forfeited

Adds new provisions allowing licensed geologists to place their license on inactive status, excusing them from renewal fees but prohibiting practice during that period

Expands violation categories to include practicing while impaired by alcohol or drugs, engaging in dishonorable or unethical conduct, and fraud in obtaining or renewing a license, with first offenses classified as Class A misdemeanors and subsequent offenses as Class 4 felonies
