Amends the Chicago Police Article of the Illinois Pension Code to allow Chicago police officers who successfully challenge denied or terminated disability benefits in administrative review to recover court costs, litigation expenses, and reasonable attorney's fees from the Fund

Expands fee recovery eligibility to include denials of ordinary disability benefits (Section 5-155), in addition to existing coverage for duty disability and occupational disease disability benefits

Creates new provision allowing fee recovery when disability benefits (duty, ordinary, or occupational) are terminated by majority vote of the Retirement Board and the officer prevails on administrative review

Amends the State Mandates Act to exempt this legislation from state reimbursement requirements

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
