Requires all licensed veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians to display their license or a copy in a conspicuous place at their principal office or any location where they provide services, with the license number visible

Expands protected title restrictions so that "certified veterinary technician," "veterinary technician," "vet tech," "technician," and the initials "CVT" or "VT" can only be used by Department-certified individuals

Clarifies that a certified veterinary technician must be a graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program and have passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination approved by the Board

Makes unauthorized use of protected veterinary technician titles a Class A misdemeanor, with certified technicians who violate the Act also subject to certificate revocation

Updates statutory references to specify that veterinary technology services must be performed pursuant to specific administrative code sections (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1500.48 and 1500.60)
