Creates the Public Adjuster Advisory Board within the Illinois Department of Insurance to review and recommend changes to licensure requirements for public adjusters in the state

Board responsibilities include preparing proposed rules to protect commercial and residential consumers following catastrophic events

Board membership includes 14 members: the Director of Insurance (as chairperson), Chief Enforcement Officer, General Counsel, 4 legislative appointees (one from each caucus leader), and 6 Governor appointees including licensed public adjusters and an attorney specializing in public adjuster regulation

Board must meet in April and September of each year; members serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for expenses

Annual report required to be submitted to the Governor and General Assembly by January 1, 2026, and each year thereafter, addressing licensing issues and recommended policy changes
