Amends the Department of Innovation and Technology Act to modify the Generative AI and Natural Language Processing Task Force's meeting requirements

Changes the requirement for public meetings from mandatory ("shall hold at least 5") to permissive ("may hold"), eliminating the previous mandate to meet in Chicago, Springfield, Metro East, Quad Cities, and Southern Illinois

Allows co-chairpersons to convene meetings at their discretion, with the Task Force meeting "as frequently as necessary" to carry out its duties

Removes the December 31, 2024 deadline for filing a single report, replacing it with a requirement to file "periodic reports" to the Governor and General Assembly on an ongoing basis

Task Force composition and responsibilities remain unchanged, including investigating generative AI and natural language processing software, recommending consumer protections, developing school policies, and assessing workforce and cybersecurity impacts
