Extends the retroactive filing period for ordinary disability benefits from 30 days to 60 days for Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) pension fund members

Applies to employees who become disabled from causes other than work-related injuries or self-employment activities

The Board retains authority to waive the 60-day filing deadline if good cause is shown for the delay

Ordinary disability benefit remains at 50% of salary, with eligibility lasting 25% of total service time up to a maximum of 5 years
