Extends the sunset date for the Respiratory Care Practice Act from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2031, allowing the regulatory framework for respiratory care practitioners to continue

Expands the scope of respiratory care practice to include administration of vaccinations for respiratory illness prevention to patients 18 years and older, pursuant to a valid prescription or standing order from a physician

Reduces the Respiratory Care Board membership from 7 to 5 members, decreasing respiratory care practitioner representatives from 4 to 3 and hospital administrator representatives from 2 to 1

Adds "email address of record" as an official contact method, requiring licensees to provide and maintain current email addresses and allowing the Department to serve notices via email

Updates student/trainee status duration to allow up to 3 years for associate's degree programs and 5 years for bachelor's degree programs in respiratory care education
