Removes the 35-mile radius restriction that previously prevented the Illinois Racing Board from issuing a new standardbred racing organization license within 35 miles of an existing racetrack without written consent from the existing track operator

Applies to standardbred racetracks located in specific Cook County townships: Bloom, Bremen, Calumet, Orland, Rich, Thornton, or Worth

The 35-mile consent requirement only applied before the effective date of this amendment, effectively sunsetting the geographic protection for existing racetracks

Licensed standardbred racetracks retain full rights including inter-track wagering licenses, organization gaming licenses with 1,200 gaming positions, and internet wagering on horse racing

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
