Reduces sentences for individuals convicted based on legal accountability (accomplice liability) rather than directly committing the crime, dropping each offense by approximately one to two classification levels

First degree murder convictions based on accountability would be sentenced as Class X felonies instead of murder; Class X felonies would be sentenced as Class 1 felonies

Class 3 and Class 4 felonies based on accountability would be reduced to Class A and Class B misdemeanors, respectively

Excludes certain offenses from the reduced sentencing, including specific sections related to stalking, cyberstalking, and harassment

Requires the trier of fact to determine accountability beyond a reasonable doubt before the reduced sentencing applies
