Full-tuition waivers for undergraduate education at all Illinois public universities for Illinois residents who were discharged from military service due to federal policy changes unrelated to performance

Applies to individuals who served in the Illinois National Guard, U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, or ROTC programs and were receiving tuition assistance before discharge

Covers both forced discharges and situations where service members were given the choice between voluntary or forced discharge

Eligibility requires submitting an application, providing documentary proof of service, prior tuition assistance, and discharge, and meeting standard university admission requirements

Waivers may be renewed annually for up to 4 years of full-tuition benefits as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress toward graduation
