Requires the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board to develop or approve a training course to help officers identify and interact with individuals with epilepsy

Training course must align with best practice guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Board must conduct or approve the epilepsy training course within 2 years of the bill's effective date

Board may consult with the Department of Public Health or Department of Human Services to develop and update the curriculum

Law enforcement officers must complete epilepsy identification and interaction training every 3 years as part of mandatory in-service training requirements
