Amends the School Code to add a third option for 7th and 8th grade students to earn high school course credit while attending their own school

Currently, middle school students can take high school courses either at the high school location or at their own school if they pass an end-of-course exam demonstrating high school-level proficiency

New provision allows students to take courses at their own school without the exam requirement, provided the course is taught by a teacher with a professional educator license endorsed for the appropriate grade level and content area

School boards of districts with grades 9-12 retain authority to adopt policies permitting this early high school credit option

Credits earned under this policy must count toward high school graduation requirements and be included in the student's GPA
