Expands the definition of "trained personnel" to include athletic coaches and athletic trainers, allowing them to administer asthma medication, epinephrine injectors, and opioid antagonists after completing required training

Permits students with asthma to self-administer and self-carry their asthma medication at school-sponsored athletic practices and games

Authorizes school nurses or trained personnel to administer undesignated asthma medication to anyone experiencing respiratory distress at school-sponsored athletic practices or games

Requires schools to maintain a supply of asthma medication in secure, accessible locations where physical activity occurs, such as practice fields, tracks, or gyms

Mandates that at least one member of each athletic coach's staff and all athletic trainers at a school complete annual training on recognizing respiratory distress and administering undesignated asthma medication
