Amends the Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act to expand per diem reimbursement protections for providers serving residents with developmental disabilities

Guarantees 100% per diem reimbursement for up to 20 medical absence days when third-party medical personnel determine a resident cannot return to the community-integrated living arrangement

Ensures providers receive full per diem reimbursement for up to 20 days if a resident dies during a medical absence, rather than requiring the resident to return for the provider to receive payment

Medical absences include hospitalizations, short-term stabilization placements, nursing facility stays, rehabilitation in long-term care facilities, and other legitimate medical reasons

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
