Extends the deadline for Illinois school districts (excluding Chicago) to transfer money between funds for any purpose from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2029

Applies to interfund transfers between the Educational Fund, Operations and Maintenance Fund, Transportation Fund, and Tort Immunity Fund

School boards must hold a public hearing with published notice 7-30 days in advance and posted notice at least 48 hours before the hearing to approve transfers

Only applies to school districts with populations under 500,000 inhabitants

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
