IL HB4382

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to add a 6-month license suspension penalty for graduated license holders under age 18 who violate state law while driving with more than one passenger under age 20.

The suspension applies only when the violation results in bodily harm, permanent disability, or death to another person.

Exempts passengers who are siblings, step-siblings, children, or stepchildren of the driver from the passenger restriction.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
