Exempts vehicles owned and operated by county sheriff's offices from Illinois Vehicle Code registration and certificate of title requirements, provided the vehicles externally display evidence of sheriff's office ownership.

Amends Sections 3-402 and 3-808.1 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5) to add sheriff's vehicles to the list of exempt vehicles.

Places sheriff's office vehicles in the same category as federal government vehicles, which are already exempt when displaying external evidence of federal ownership.
