Municipalities and counties must submit to the Capital Development Board a list of residential high-rise buildings that lack full fire sprinkler coverage, including buildings with no sprinkler system or only partial coverage

Residential high-rise buildings are defined as those 75+ feet tall or 7+ stories used for human occupancy

Information must be submitted electronically by June 30, 2028, and include property identification number, number of floors, address, and building height

Home rule municipalities with more than 2,000,000 inhabitants (Chicago) are exempt from the reporting requirement

The Capital Development Board will compile submissions into a single electronic document available upon request but is not liable for the accuracy of information provided by local governments
