Authorizes the Illinois Comptroller to issue citations and fines up to $10,000 per violation against licensed crematories and to refuse licenses for applicants with delinquent taxes or unpaid child support

Requires crematory authorities to perform cremations within 60 days of receiving human remains unless otherwise instructed, with mandatory notification to the Comptroller and county coroner if delayed

Mandates that upon license revocation or suspension, county coroners or medical examiners must take possession of bodies and cremated remains within 72 hours if no authorized agent can be contacted

Requires cemetery authorities to implement standard operating procedures for all employees and establish medical waste management plans

Allows circuit courts to order willing local governments to assume control of abandoned privately owned cemeteries when no receiver is available and the cemetery has accepted care funds
