Requires all Illinois public school districts to provide age-appropriate active-transportation safety training (bicycling, pedestrian activities, nonmotorized transportation) to students in kindergarten through grade 8

Students in grades K-3 must receive training on pedestrian safety including crossing roads; students in grades 4-8 must also receive bicycle safety training covering traffic laws, helmet use, and safe biking techniques

Training for grades 4-8 must include instruction that persons under age 16 are prohibited from operating electric-assisted bicycles

New students enrolled in the first two weeks must complete training by the 3rd week (K-3) or 6th week (grades 4-8); students enrolling later must receive training within 4 weeks of attendance

Secretary of Transportation must maintain a comprehensive collection of training materials; schools must make reasonable accommodations for English language learners and students with disabilities
