Creates a new introductory computer science endorsement allowing teachers with a Professional Educator License to teach introductory computer science courses in grades 5 through 12

Requires no more than 8 credit hours of graduate-level preparation covering introductory computer science concepts and pedagogy

Allows a State Board-approved one-week professional development program to substitute for 4 of the 8 required credit hours

Permits paraprofessional educators who complete the 8 credit hours to count those hours toward a full Professional Educator License with computer science endorsement
