Authorizes circuit court clerks in any Illinois county to establish and maintain a will depository for voluntary safekeeping of original wills, codicils, trusts, and trust amendments before the testator's death

Allows attorneys to deposit a will if they certify in writing that they cannot locate the testator after a diligent search, which must include inquiry at the last known address and written notice sent by mail

Sets a $25 fee per will deposited, with no additional charge for related documents deposited together for a single testator or for joint wills prepared for spouses

Requires deposited wills to remain sealed and non-public during the testator's lifetime, with release only to the testator, an authorized person with written permission, or by court order

Permits clerks to destroy deposited wills after 100 years if no death certificate or withdrawal request has been received, and limits clerk liability to cases of willful misconduct
