Pharmacy benefit managers must reimburse pharmacies at no less than the national average drug acquisition cost plus a $10.49 professional dispensing fee at the time of dispensing.

When national average drug acquisition cost data is unavailable, reimbursement must be at least the wholesale acquisition cost plus the $10.49 dispensing fee.

Amends Section 513b1 of the Illinois Insurance Code governing pharmacy benefit manager contracts.
