Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to reimburse complex rehabilitation technology wheelchair repairs and accessories at rates equivalent to the maximum Medicare fee schedule in Illinois, beginning January 1, 2027

Applies to healthcare common procedure coding system (HCPCS) codes specifically related to wheelchair repair and accessories under the Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program

Includes reimbursement at the KU modifier rate when applicable, which provides an exemption from competitive bidding pricing under Medicare

Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code by adding new Section 5-5j

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law, though the reimbursement rate changes apply to services on or after January 1, 2027
