Eliminates the statute of limitations for prosecuting witness intimidation when the underlying case involves a sex offense and the victim was under 18 years of age at the time of the offense.

Amends Section 3-6 of the Criminal Code of 2012 (720 ILCS 5/3-6), which governs extended limitations periods for various crimes.

Adds a new subsection (p) to the existing extended limitations provisions, specifically addressing witness intimidation connected to sex offenses against minors.

Sex offenses are defined by reference to the Sex Offender Registration Act.
