IL HB5015

Requires Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) employees and applicants to self-report any new criminal history record information within 30 days of occurrence and complete an annual self-certification form confirming no updates to their criminal record.

Extends the same 30-day self-reporting and annual certification requirements to employees and volunteers of child care facilities and non-licensed service providers under DCFS or Department of Early Childhood authority.

Defines "employee" broadly to include all staff at child care facilities, including unlicensed contractual employees, substitutes, assistants, and support staff who have access to children.

Amends both the Children and Family Services Act (20 ILCS 505/5) and the Child Care Act of 1969 (225 ILCS 10/4.1) to implement these criminal history reporting requirements.
