Redefines "street" in the Illinois Vehicle Code to mean any highway that is part of the municipal street system described in Section 2-104 of the Illinois Highway Code

Removes the current definition of "street" as "the entire width between boundary lines of every way publicly maintained, when any part thereof is open to the use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel"

Amends Section 1-201 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5/1-201)
