Creates a SNAP Response Working Group under the Illinois Commission to End Hunger to evaluate impacts of federal changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Public Law 119-21) on Illinois residents

Working Group consists of 26 members including state legislators, agency directors, and representatives from food banks, advocacy organizations, domestic violence services, legal aid, and unions representing state benefits workers

Preliminary report due to the General Assembly by January 1, 2027, outlining federal SNAP changes, number of residents impacted, initial mitigation recommendations, and projected state costs for federal Fiscal Year 2028

Full report due by April 1, 2027, with final impact analysis, recommendations to prevent harm to benefit recipients, updated cost projections, and potential cost savings

Working Group dissolves on May 31, 2027, with all reports to be published on the Department of Human Services website
