Amends the Military Veterans Assistance Act to require each Veterans Assistance Commission to prepare and publish an annual budget on its official website beginning with fiscal years after January 1, 2027.

A public hearing on the budget must occur within 30 days of publication, and the budget requires approval from both the full Commission membership and the county board where the Commission is organized.

Veterans Assistance Commissions must follow the same procurement and bidding procedures as their respective county or the largest sponsoring government entity based on financial contribution.

All Veterans Assistance Commissions are made explicitly subject to the Freedom of Information Act.

The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
